The Development Research Center of the State Council（DRC） is a policy research and consulting institution directly under the State Council of the People's Republic of China. Its main function is to undertake research on the overall, comprehensive, strategic and long-term issues related to the national economy, social development, reform and opening-up and provide policy suggestions and consulting advice to the CPC Central Committee and the State Council. The main functions of the Information Center include: editing and publishing DRC's internal study results and distributing external publications including Economic Reference, among which China Development Review （in Chinese and English） is an academic and research journal for international exchanges; Collecting information and data required in DRC's research work; conducting the relevant research projects, and providing information and consulting services.
